CRB Solutions launches Biometric Cashless Payment Solution into Secondary Schools
CRB Solutions are pleased to announce the successful trial and launch
of a biometric cashless payment solution. By integrating
fingerprint scanners into the Impact infrastructure CRB are able to
eradicate the need for cards along with their associated cost and
administrative issues.
Having tested a number of
biometric solutions over recent years CRB are delighted to have found
one that meets the speed and accuracy requirements of a hectic dining
environment.
Having been installed in Lyndon School
in Solihull since March the biometric system has proved its
effectiveness and is now available to the market.
The
initial capital cost premium of the biometric solution is of the order
of 10% of a typical secondary school’s system but this, of course,
can soon be recovered in savings made on buying and administering
replacement cards.
Having successfully proved the
system in a Secondary school environment CRB shall shortly be testing in
it in a Primary School environment where the hope is that it may
circumvent the look up procedure.
